Q.S.I. Srl provides Vendor Inspection and Expediting services in Italy, such as supervision, in-process and pre-shipment inspection, testing and expediting of mechanical equipment mainly for the Oil & Gas industry.
QSI Srl’s personnel is qualified and experienced in materials, manufacturing and testing to help you manage and control your oursourcing activities. Our scope of work is to ensure so far as practicable that products and materials conform to the purchase order and other contractual agreements.

Our function is limited to ensuring that the product or material conforms to the design and standards specified by the client and detailed in the contract, purchase order and/or other contractual agreements.

Our Inspectors / Expeditors are expected to comply fully with our established policy of strict observance of all laws, and maintain high standards of ethics and integrity.
We completely protect the confidentiality of all information gained or accessed from the client and the suppliers as a result of the Inspection activities carried out.
We carry out supervision, inspection and testing of mechanical equipment (such as Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Welded structures, Forgings, Castings, Piping, Fittings and Flanges, Valves, Filters, Compressors, Turbines and Pumps, etc.).
We are familiar with relevant manufacturing processes, codes and standards such as BS standards, EN standards, ANSI series, API Stds, ASME series, ASTM series, physical/mechanical properties testing, NDT procedures and equipment, acceptance and performance testing.
We will submit the CV of suitably experienced and qualified Specialists to the Client’s approval prior to any inspection or expediting activity.
Our personnel have been trained to monitor the development of all operations of the manufacturing process, thus identifying all bottlenecks, such as engineering work, clarifications of open issues with the Client, provision of raw materials and of sub-contracted components or activities, and helping the Client to reach the contractual delivery time and to achieve the requested quality levels.
Upcoming operations needed will be discussed together with the Supplier in order to anticipate possible problems. Upcoming inspection activities shall be identified based on the ITP and shall be cross-referenced with the Production Schedule.
The Expeditor will also highlight any technical issue which may have been underestimated by Supplier in order to avoid possible bottlenecks or issues in the upcoming operations.
